An essential item of women's steampunk dress, a corset should be sturdy enough to stand up to anything but there is no reason it can not elegant too. The black corset clasps on this model are particularly popular and with good reason. They are both attractive and unusual with a real Victorian steampunk look. The corset itself is just as good as the fasteners, a beautiful brocade outer fabric. The whole garment is finished off in black faux leather.

There are two kinds of corsets on here, they are full steel boned corsets and parial steel boned corsets. Most corsets are not full steel boned, which are fashion corsets. Fashion corsets are made of partial plastic boned and partial steeld boned. To select your perfect size of fashion corset simply choose your UK/AU dress size
All of the corsets in the Authentic, Waist Training and Couture categories are full steel boned, body shaping corsets. These corsets will pull your waist in by 4-5”. These corsets require an accurate waist measurement in order to size them effectively. We recommend a corset that is 4-5” smaller than your natural waist measurement.

CAN A CORSET ACTUALLY BE COMFORTABLE?
Of course, it will depend on how tight you lace your corset, but our corsets are designed for comfort. Add beauty and a fun design and you are a show stopper.

HOW MANY HOURS AT A TIME CAN I WEAR A CORSET?
That depends entirely on your tolerance level. Corsets wearers have danced the night away, rode motorcycles in them, and worn them 24 hours at a time. It all depends on you.We recommend wearing 8 hours a day, self-allocation 8-10 times, generally it is best to let professionals help you measure every month, slowly will see the body-building clothes become loose, size will become smaller, this feeling is very delicate, slowly feel it, the length of weight loss depends on the individual.

WHAT KIND OF FABRICS DO YOU USE?
We do not like to think that we are ever limited to a certain kind of fabric or material for a corset. The imagination has no such limits! We use the best quality of fabric ranging from (but not exclusive to) cotton, satin, mesh, velvet, vinyl, leather, and lace for the outside. We use heavy duty tightly woven coutil cotton for the lining. This is breathable and has the best weight for structure and body. The only material we do not work with is heavy gauge leather. The outer embellishments can be as elaborate as you wish. We are not happy until you are happy with the final product.

WHAT TYPE OF STABILIZER DO YOU USE ON THE CORSET?
The durability and stability of the corset are determined by the many layers of fabric and the boning that is used. It can be made unrelentingly rigid or comfortably firm. Our boning ranges from rigid steel to woven steel, to a more flexible yet still rigid form of stabilizer that will not break down. Whereas other companies will charge you for additional boning, double boning is standard with all of our corsets. This keeps the body of the corset looking beautiful but is not so unyielding as to prevent you from breathing. We ALWAYS use steel busks for the front opening.

CAN I WASH MY CORSET IN THE WASHING MACHINE OR SEND IT TO THE DRY CLEANERS?
We recommend NEITHER! We will not guarantee or replace a corset that you have ruined by doing so. You do not want to toss your carefully made corset into the washing machine no matter how well it is made. The dry cleaners cannot promise that they will return your garment in the same condition that it went to them either. We DO recommend careful surface washing. This is usually all that is necessary. In past history, undergarments were worn under a corset so that the undergarments could be washed without compromising the construction of the outer corset. If you think that you may be wearing your corset for long periods of time or in hot weather, you may want to consider having an undergarment made for just that purpose.

How do you know which size to order?
For waist training, corsets should be ordered 4-6 inches smaller than your natural waist. To determine which size/style will work best for you. You need to measure the size of these body parts:
1.Underbust – Measure right under your breasts.
2.Natural Waist – Measure at the smallest part of your waist usually right above your belly button.
3.Hips – Measure around the widest part of your hips.
4.Torso – Start with the measuring tape at the underbust, sit in a chair, and measure to the hip crease (where your leg bends at the hip when seated). Do this at each hip and use the shorter measurement, if one side is shorter.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
International order delivery varies (3-15 business days) based on the shipping method you use.
